Pharmacology Notes

Hey, fellow learner! In this section of The Pharmacology Scrolls, you will find a huge list of crisp revision notes for Pharmacology.

When you take a look at the notes here, you should ideally use that as a mere skeleton to make your own notes. Your personal notes are always the best when it comes to learning pharmacology.

While most of our concise notes are free, you will need to pay a nominal fee to download some high yield, multi-page notes.

We are still in the process of uploading most of our notes, so if you need a specific topic very urgently (which most probably, you will), do feel free to drop us an email at drroshasandesh@gmail.com, and we will try and post your topic ASAP.

Happy learning!!!

Autacoids

Deep within the enchanted world of pharmacology, there exists a group of mystical, fast-acting messengers known as autacoids—the body's very own spontaneous spellcasters! These biochemical wizards work locally, appearing out of nowhere, casting their effects, and vanishing just as quickly!

Blood

The River of Life (a.k.a. blood!) flows tirelessly, delivering oxygen, nutrients, and potions of survival. But beware, young sorcerers—dark forces like clots, anemia, and bleeding curses lurk in the shadows! Fear not! The art of Blood Pharmacology equips you with the right spells to balance hemostasis, revive blood cells, and battle clots!

Central Nervous System

Deep in the enchanted realms of the Central Nervous System (CNS), the brain acts as the Grand Sorcerer, casting powerful spells through neurotransmitters - mystical messengers that control thought, movement, emotions, and even dreams! But beware—when imbalanced, they can summon disorders like epilepsy, Parkinson’s, depression, and psychosis!
